Peak House fully licensed restaurant is located on Te Mata Peak in the Te Mata Trust Park, above the fertile plains of Hawkes Bay, 299 metres above sea-level. Here you can expect a warm and friendly welcome. A roaring fire in winter, or dining on the balcony in summer, but always with a spectacular view. The Ruahine and Kaweka Ranges are visible to the south, with Mt Ruapehu clearly seen between, and the Tutaekuri River flowing across the plains. Havelock North, Hastings and Napier spread out below with lights sparkling in the evening, and Mahia Peninsula to the north curving around the sea.
